AN ACT to amend the Constitution of the Independent State of Western Samoa (hereinafter referred to as the Constitution).

BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Assembly of Western Samoa in Parliament assembled as follows:-

1. Short title - This Act may be cited as the Constitution Amendment Act 1975, and shall be read together with and be deemed part of the Constitution.

2. The Public Service - Article 83 of the Constitution is hereby amended

(a) By adding, at the end of paragraph (1) (as inserted by section 3 of the Constitution Amendment Act 1969), the word"; or"; and

(b) By adding, after paragraph (1), the following paragraph: "(m) The Clerk of the Legislative Assembly, and the other officers and employees of the Legislative Assambly."
