AN ACT to amend the Agriculture Store Corporation Act 1975.

[29th August 1990]

BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Assembly of Samoa in Parliament assembled as follows:-

1. Short title-(1) This Act may be cited as the Agriculture Store Corporation Amendment Act 1990 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Agriculture Store Corporation Act 1975 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2. Functions of Corporation - Subsection (1) of section 9 of the principal Act is amended by:-

(a) Inserting after the words "selling or hiring" the words "whether at wholesale or retail and whether at a discount or otherwise"; and

(b) Omitting after the words "section 10" the words "to persons engaged in such industries".

(2) Paragraph (a) of subsection (2) of subsection 9 of the principal Act is amended by omitting the words "persons engaged in".

(3) Paragraph (b) of subsection (2) is amended by omitting the words "persons engaged in the agriculture, forestry, and fishing industries" and substituting the words "any person",
