RESTITUTION ORDERS
This Order is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Penal Code Act CAP 135.
WHEREAS the Defendants have been found guilty and convicted and sentenced by the Court accordingly,
It is Ordered that :-
(1) Patricia Rasu and John Jack be required to pay the sums of VT4,452,419 to Consolidated Commodities (Pacific) Ltd (CCPL) which sums shall remain a debt and liability even after Patricia Rasu has completed her terms of imprisonment of 3 years and 1 months.
(2) Pako Tamata be required to pay the sums of VT170,000 to CCPL within three years of his suspended jail term. Failure to do so will result in him suffering imprisonment at the rate of 1 week’s imprisonment for every VT1.000 remaining unpaid.
