Judgment No. 748

This is an appeal lodged by TAM MING, Chinese, British dependent, against his conviction by the Court of First Instance, Central District No. 1, which on 12th January 1946 sentenced him to pay a fine of-£20 and to undergo imprisonment for one month for having at Vila on the first day of September 1945 sold to the natives George, Robert and Albert two bottles of brandy in contravention of Article 59 of the Anglo-French Protocol of 1914.
The accused stated the reasons for his appeal and the Court then gave judgment.
JUDGMENT
The appeal is dismissed and the judgment of the Lower Court affirmed.
Costs amounting to ten shillings and sixpence sterling to be paid by the accused.
