JOINT COURT OF THE NEW HEBRIDES

THE PUBLIC PROSECUTOR


versus


WILLIE MELEP.


This 10th day of July 1923,

In the matter of a charge against WILLIE MELEP, of Vila.

The above named WILLIE MELEP stands convicted before the Joint Court for that on the 5th of June 1923 he supplied one bottle of wine to WILLIE MEMEN a New Hebridean native, contrary to the provisions of Article 59 of the Convention of the 20th October 1906.

Thereupon the Joint Court sentences the said WILLIE MELEP for this said offence to pay a fine of twelve pounds (£12) and the costs of these proceedings. In default of payment within fifteen days then one Calendar Month's Imprisonment with HARD LABOUR.
