Public Prosecutor v Tari [1911] VUNHJC 18; Criminal 17 (30 May 1911)

This thirtieth day of May 1911 in the matter of a charge against TARI of Aoba, native labourer, indentured to M. Jullien, the above named Tari, of Aoba, living at Malapoa Point stands convicted before the Joint Court for that he attempted to commit murder on the first day of May 1911 on the person of Louis Fauque, a French Subject residing at Malapoa Point, Efate.

Thereupon the Joint Court sentences the said TARI, of Aoba, living at Malapoa Point, for his said offence to FIVE YEARS IMPRISONMENT. The costs of the action to be at the charge of Tari, of Aoba.
