SUMMARY OF SENTENCE DELIVERED ORALLY.


The prisoner pleaded guilty to one count of abetment to housebreaking.


She was aged 18, no employment – associated with a older and experienced criminal – broke into Talamahu Market - with co-offender – seen running from market - she was a first offender – pleaded guilty at first opportunity- unrepresented .


SENTENCE


Bond under s 198 for two years to appear for sentence if required;


Probation under s 199 on conditions;


  1. Probation for 12 months with conditions;
    1. live where directed by probation;
    2. not to consume alcohol or drugs for a period of two years;
    3. life skills program under the Salvation Army;
    4. drug and alcohol abuse program under the Salvation Army
