REGULATIONS

Short title
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Forest Resources and Timber Utilisation (Fees) Regulations.

Commencement
2. These Regulations shall commence on 1st May, 1988.

Fees
3. The fee specified in the right-hand column of the Schedule is payable in respect of the matter specified opposite the fee in the left-hand column of the Schedule.

Existing application
4. All applications for the grant or renewal of a licence or applications permit under sections 5, 18, 19 or 28 of the Act pending before the Commissioner of Forest Resources at the date of commencement of these Regulations shall continue good and valid and shall be deemed to have been made under and in accordance with these Regulations.

Existing licences
5. All licences and permits granted, issued or renewed under sections 5, 18, 19 or 28 and which are valid at the date of commencement of these Regulations shall continue good and valid until they are cancelled or until their period of validity expires.
