FINDING


Upon hearing from Mr. Tony Kagovai for the applicant and having considered the result of the secret ballot, the Panel is satisfied that the majority of the employees are in support of the union that it represents them on matters relating to their terms and conditions of employment.


The Panel therefore ordered as follows:


1.
The respondent is to recognize the union as legitimate body to represent the workers on matters relating to their terms and conditions of their employment.
2.
The parties to commence negotiation on the terms of the Collective Agreement within 7 days.
3.
The respondent is to pay $500.00 towards panel expenses within 7 days.
