SENTENCE

Mwanesalua DCJ; The Defendant in this case has pleaded guilty to two counts of defilement, contrary to section 142 (I) of the Penal Code and one count sexual intercourse with a child contrary to section 15 contrary to section 139 (I) of the Penal Code (Amendment Sexual Offences) Act 2016.

He has no previous conviction. He committed the defilement offences in 2015 and offence of rape in 2016. He is now sentenced as follows:

Count 1: Defilement -One year imprisonment

Count 2: Defilement-One year imprisonment

Count 3: Rap-Two year’s imprisonment

Sentences are to be served concurrently. Order accordingly.
