Palmer CJ.


The defendant has been convicted of the offence of murder as an aider and abettor under section 21(b) and (c) of the Penal Code. There is only one sentence for the offence of murder, that is, life imprisonment. I impose that herewith.


As to any remarks which the court may possibly consider to make regarding any minimum period which the defendant may be required to serve for the consideration of a Parole Board or Prerogative of Mercy Committee that is adjourned to a later date, Friday 23 August 2013 at 9.30 am.


The defendant has a right of appeal to the Court of Appeal if aggrieved by the decision of the court.


ORDERS OF THE COURT:


  1. Impose sentence of life imprisonment forthwith.
