DIRECTION


Having given directions on the 29th day of April, 1997, that parties to this case should not make comments in the media pertaining to the issues raised in this case that may prejudice a fair hearing;


And it coming to the notice of this Honourable Court, that parties are not complying with this general direction,


And that the public integrity, impartiality, and independence of this Court may be prejudiced or tarnished unnecessarily if such conduct is not arrested immediately,


THIS COURT DOTH DIRECT:


  1. That parties to this Case, their associates, servants and agents, shall first get the approval of their legal representatives before coming out in the media about matters pertaining to this dispute and any other related dispute within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court.
  2. That a failure to comply with this direction may give rise to contempt of court proceedings being instituted.
  3. That this direction shall include the law firms represented by their town agents whether within this jurisdiction or not.
