Maeli v Talifai [1990] SBHC 61; HC-CC 070 of 1990 (6 November 1990)

HIGH COURT OF SOLOMON ISLANDS

Civil Case No. 70 of 1990

JACK MAELI

-v-

RINTU TALIFAI AND SAM TAEBO

High Court of Solomon Islands
(Ward C.J.)

Hearing: 6 November 1990 at Auki
Judgment: 6 November 1990

A. Bowen for the Appellant
J. Muria for the Respondent

WARD CJ: The Local Court has answered the questions properly. The applicant still disputes the facts but the Local Court had those facts before them and they were material on which they were entitled to make the decision they did.

I see no reason to interfere.

It is clear the respondents have not been guilty of the contempt alleged.

Application dismissed.

Costs to Respondents.

(F.G.R. Ward)
CHIEF JUSTICE
