EXCHANGE OF LETTERS BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF NEW ZEALAND AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF NAURU CONSTITUTING AN AGREEMENT TO AMEND THE ROUTE SCHEDULE OF THE AIR SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN NEW ZEALAND AND NAURU OF 5 AUGUST 1980

Excellency
I have the honour to refer to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Nauru and the Government of New Zealand concerning Air Services done at Wellington on 5 August 1980, hereinafter referred to as the Agreement, as amended by the Exchange of Letters dated 28 August 1984, and the following the recent proposal of the Nauru Government to service Niue via Auckland, to propose pursuant to Article XIV that the route schedule forming part of the Agreement be amended as follows:
by establishing an additional column for the designated airline of Nauru in section 2 headed “Points Beyond”, and in that column on the first route of section 2, adding the beyond point Niue.
If the foregoing is acceptable to the Government of the Republic of Nauru, I have the honour to propose that this letter and your reply to that effect shall constitute an Agreement between our two Governments and that a revised route schedule in accordance with the above as annexed hereto shall replace the current route schedule, to take effect from the date of your reply.

I have the honour to refer to your letter of 28 August 1984 which reads as follows:

I have the honour to confirm that the proposal contained in your letter is acceptable to the Government of the Republic of Nauru and that your letter and this reply shall therefore constitute an Agreement between our two Governments with effect from the date of this reply.
