AN ACT

entitled

National Intelligence Organization (Amendment) Act 2002,

Being an Act to amend the National Intelligence Organization Act (Chapter 405),

MADE by the National Parliament to come into operation of even date with the coming into operation of the Prime Minister Act 2002.

1. INTERPRETATION (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 2).

Section 2 of the Principal Act is amended -

(a) by repealing the definition of "Committee" and replacing it with the following:-

• "'Committee' means the National Security Advisory Committee established by Section 11 of the Prime Minister Act 2002;"; and

(b) by repealing the definition of "Council" and replacing it with the following:-

• "'Council' means the National Security Council under Section 8 of the Prime Minister Act 2002;".

2. REPEAL OF PART II.

Part II of the Principal Act is repealed.
