ARRANGEMENT OF SECTION.

New Section 25B.

"25B. A FOREIGN ENTERPRISE GRANTED CERTIFICATE.".

AN ACT

entitled

Investment Promotion (Amendment) Act 2022,

Being an Act to amend the Investment Promotion Act 1992,

MADE by the National Parliament to come into operation in accordance with a notice in the National Gazette by the Head of State, acting with, and in accordance with, the advice of the Minister.

NEW SECTION 25B.

The Principal Act is amended by inserting immediately after Section 25A the following new section:

"25B. A FOREIGN ENTERPRISE GRANTED CERTIFICATE.
A foreign enterprise that is the holder of a certificate that is in force under the Manus Special Economic Region Act 2022 shall be deemed for all purposes of this Act to have been granted a certificate under this Part.".
