Transfers to Hela Provincial Government (Amendment of Section 26).

AN ACT
entitled
Hela Transitional Authority (Amendment) Act 2011,
Being an Act to amend the Hela Transitional Authority Act 2009.
MADE by the National Parliament and deemed to have come into operation immediately after the commencement of the Hela Transitional Authority Act 2009.
TRANSFERS TO HELA PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 26).
Section 26 of the Hela Transitional Authority Act 2009 is amended by repealing Subsection (6) and replacing it with the following subsections:
"(6) The person who immediately before the establishment day was the Chief Executive Officer shall continue to hold office on and after that day on the same terms and conditions as if he had been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Hela Provincial Government until -
(a) he is appointed as the acting Provincial Administrator or the Provincial Administrator of the Hela Provincial Government; or
(b) another person is appointed as the acting Provincial Administrator or the Provincial Administrator of the Hela Provincial Government,
whichever first occurs.
"(7) If a person immediately before the establishment day was a member of the staff of the Authority, he or she shall continue to hold office on and after that day on the same terms and conditions as if he or she had been employed by the Hela Provincial Government, until his or her employment ceases.".
