AN ACT

entitled

Commission of Inquiry into the National Provident Fund (Validation) Act 2002,

Being an Act to validate the Commission of Inquiry into the National Provident Fund for the period from 1 August 2000,

MADE by the National Parliament.

1. INTERPRETATION.

In this Act, "the Commission of Inquiry" means the Commission of Inquiry into the National Provident Fund appointed on 13 April 2000.

2. VALIDATION.

The -

(a) continuance, after 31 July 2000, of the appointment of the Commission of Inquiry, and
(b) inquiries carried out after 31 July 2000 by the Commission of Inquiry; and
(c) report or reports, interim or final, made by the Commission of Inquiry after 31 July 2000,

shall not be invalid by reason only that the extension of the date, by which the Commission of Inquiry was to render its final report, was made after 31 July 2000.
