Cabinet makes the following Regulations under Section 25 of the Drones Act 2018:

  1. Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Drones (Forms and Fees) Regulations 2020.


  1. Commencement

These Regulations shall commence on the day they are notified in the Gazette.


  1. Application for permit to import drone

For the purpose of Section 8 of the Act, an application for a permit to import drone shall be in Form 1 of Schedule 1.

  1. Application for licence to sell drones

For the purpose of Section 10 of the Act, an application for a licence to sell drones shall be in Form 2 of Schedule 1.

  1. Application for permit to use drones

For the purpose of Section 13(1)(a) of the Act, an application for a permit to use drones shall be in Form 3 of Schedule 1.


  1. Permit to import drones

A permit to import drones shall be in Form 4 of Schedule 1.


  1. Licence to sell drones

A licence to sell drones shall be in Form 5 of Schedule 1.

  1. Permit to use drones

A permit to use drones shall be in Form 6 of Schedule 1.


  1. Permit or licence not granted to minors

A permit or licence shall not be granted to a person under the age of 18 years.


  1. Fees

The fees to be paid for the purposes of the Act and Regulations are set out in Schedule 2.
