SENTENCING REMARKS

Justin Olsson:

You have been convicted of Robbery. You a young strong man, went into a store, assaulted a frail older man and took some money from him. It was a mean and cowardly act.

At the time, 14 April, you were on bail on a charge of Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm and two other charges. On 23 July you were sentenced to five months imprisonment for them.

That you committed this robbery while on bail for the other offences makes the crime the more serious.

You are sentenced to 4 years imprisonment, the term be cumulative on the sentences you are now serving.
