A conference welcome function was held on the evening of Monday 29 August, with cultural performances by students and a Melanesian feast.

Two international moots took place in the evenings during the conference. The first, on Tuesday 3 August, was between Auckland University and USP Laucala Campus students, and was won by Auckland. The moot problem can be accessed by clicking here. The second, on Wednesday 31 August, was between Otago University and USP Emalus Campus students, and was won by the Emalus team.
