[1] By information filed on 1 August 2018, the accused was charged with 1 count of false pretences, contrary to section 301(a) of the Penal Code (Cap.67).

[2] Counsel for the Republic has now stated in court the Attorney-General’s desire to enter a nolle prosequi under section 68(1) of the Criminal Procedure Code.

[3] The accused is accordingly discharged.

[4] This file is to be closed.
