SENTENCE

The accused has been convicted of the crime of murder for which the law prescribes a mandatory sentence.

Accordingly, the accused is sentenced to imprisonment for life.

Such sentence shall be deemed to commence from the date the accused was taken into custody, i.e. 8th June 1996.
