Land Transport (Public Service Vehicle) Regulations 2009

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 113 of the Act, and after consulting the Authority, I make these Regulations -

Citation

1.-(i) These Regulation may be cited as the Land Transport (Public Service Vehicle) (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and comes into force on the 30th of June 2009.

(ii) In these Regulations "Principle Regulations" means the Land Transport (Public Service Vehicle) Regulations 2000.

Part 3 Division 3 is amended

2. Regulation Part 3 Division 3 of the Principal Regulations is amended by adding a new Regulation after Regulation 38 -

(39)-(1) The following existing towns had been gazetted to install and use taxi meters:

(a) Suva: and

(b) Sigatoka: and

(c) Nadi: and

(d) Lautoka: and

(e) Nausori.

(2) The following towns that are now regulated to install and use taxi meter forthwith are:

(a) Ba: and

(b) Tavua: and -

(c) Rakiraki: and

(d) Nasinu: and

(e) Savusavu: and

(f) Taveuni: and

(g) Labasa.
