LIQUOR ACT (AMENDMENT) DECREE 2009

(DECREE NO. 13)

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as the President and Commander in Chief of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, I hereby make the following Decree:

Short title and commencement

1. This Decree may be cited as the Liquor Act (Amendment) Decree 2009 and shall be deemed to come into force on the 19th day of May 2009.

Section 2 amended

2. Section 2 of the Liquor Act 2006 is amended—

(a) in the definition of "restricted area" by deleting "21" and substituting "18";

(b) in the definition of "supervised area" by deleting "21" and substituting "18".

Section 61 amended

3. Section 61 of the Liquor Act 2006 is amended—

(a) in subsection (1) by deleting "21" and substituting "18";

(b) in paragraph (c) of subsection (4) by deleting "21" and substituting "18".

Section 63 amended

4. Section 63 of the Liquor Act 2006 is amended—

(a) in subsection (1) by deleting "21" and substituting "18";

(b) in subsection (2) by deleting "21" and substituting "18";

(c) by deleting subsection (3).
