AN ACT

TO AMEND THE JUDGES' REMUNERATION AND EMOLUMENTS ACT

ENACTED by the Parliament of Fiji-

Short title and commencement

1. This Act maybe cited as the Judges' Remuneration and Emoluments (Amendment) Act, 1986, and shall be deemed to have come into force on 1 January 1986.

Salaries from 1 January 1986

2. Section 2 of the Judges' Remuneration and Emoluments Act is amended in subsection (1) by-

(a) repealing the expression "$36,800" and replacing it by the expression "$37,628"; and

(b) repealing the expression "$31,300" and replacing it by the expression "$32,004".

Passed by the House of Representatives this second day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand, nine hundred and eighty-six.

Passed by the Senate this eleventh day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand, nine hundred and eighty-six.
