AN ACT
TO AMEND CERTAIN LEGISLATION RELATING TO HEALTH SERVICES AND FOR RELATED MATTERS
ENACTED by the Parliament of the Fiji Islands
Short title and commencement
1. This Act may be cited as the Health Services (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2002 and commences on a date appointed by the Minister by notice in the Gazette.
Amendments to the Public Health Act
2. The Public Health Act (Cap. 111) is amended as set out in Schedule 1.
Amendments to the Public Hospitals and Dispensaries Act
3. The Public Hospitals and Dispensaries Act (Cap. 110) is amended as set out in Schedule 2.
Amendments to regulations
4. Without prejudice to the powers conferred under the Public Health Act and the Public Hospitals and Dispensaries Act to make regulations, the regulations listed in Schedule 3 are amended as set out in that Schedule.
