AN ACT

TO AMEND THE ACCIDENT COMPENSATION ACT 2017

ENACTED by the Parliament of the Republic of Fiji -

Short title and commencement

1.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Accident Compensation (Budget Amendment) Act 2020.

(2) This Act comes into force on 1 August 2020.

Section 30 amended

2. Section 30 of the Accident Compensation Act 2017 is amended by -

(a) in subsection (6), deleting "statement of accounts of the Accident Compensation Fund which must include a balance sheet and an account of income and expenditure" and substituting "trust account statement of receipts and payments of the Accident Compensation Fund"; and
(b) in subsections (7) and (8), deleting "statement of accounts" and substituting "trust account statement of receipts and payments".
