Application for Judicial Review

R U L I N G


[1] The applicant applies for leave to judicially review the decision of a Magistrate made at Ba on the 20th January 2015, when he was sentenced for 11 cases.


[2] He prays that the sentences were passed in consideration of irrelevant matters and were unreasonable.


[3] This Application is ill conceived. Grievances in respect of matters of sentence and conviction are to be dealt with by the practice and procedures for appeal set out in the Criminal Procedure Decree 2009 and the Court of Appeal Act Cap.12.


[4] Leave to judicially review the Magistrate’s sentences is refused.
