SENTENCE


[1] The accused is a young first time offender who has pleaded guilty at the first reasonable opportunity for being in possession of a very small amount of marijuana (0.5 grams) for personal use. He was remanded in custody for 4 days which in itself is a form of punishment for this young man.


[2] In the circumstances I bound him over for 12 months to be of good behaviour.
