RULING


For the same reasons articulated in many judgments of this Court, and the other two criminal High Courts, the Applicant must be granted bail. He is remanded in inhumane and degrading conditions. However, bail must be granted in strict conditions. They are:


  1. Surety of Kolinio Varunamusu in the sum of $1000.
  2. Bail in the sum of $1000 in his own recognizance.
  3. No interference with witnesses.
  4. Report to Kalabu Police Station, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 7am to 6pm, weekly.
  5. Must stay at the house of Kolinio Varunamusu every night between 7pm and 7am and may only attend church function between those hours after informing police.
  6. Must attend all court dates.
  7. Surrender travel documents.
