SENTENCE

This accused has 17 previous convictions all together, 3 of which are akin to the present offences. In imposing sentence against the accused, I have taken into account the accused's plea in mitigation and also his plea of guilty. However, offences of robbery with violence are very prevalent and a custodial sentence is warranted.
