STATE

-v-

SEVULONI TORA

CHARGE:
First Count: Murder - Contrary to Sections 199 and 200 of the Penal Code, Cap. 17.

Ms. N. Shameem for State
Mr. J. Baledrokadroka for Accused

SENTENCE

First count, Accused is sentenced to Life Imprisonment pursuant to Section 200 of the Penal Code.

As for second count of rape, this is one of the worst that has come before me in the light of the brutal attack on the deceased. This is a very bad case of rape. I have given consideration to the period which the accused had served in prison in imposing sentence in the second count. I therefore, sentenced the accused to 9 years Imprisonment. Sentences of course will be concurrent.
