s/o Babu Ram
Appellant

v.

THE STATE

Appellant in Person
Mr. S. Hettige for the Respondent

JUDGMENT

The appellant's employer only received a disqualification for 12 months and in the light of State Counsel's concession that the additional 6 months disqualification imposed on the appellant is unlawful, and as an act of mercy to the appellant who has already been 8 months without a driving licence, I accordingly order the disqualification reduced to the period already expired and order the return of the appellant's driving licence to him.

(D.V. Fatiaki)
JUDGE

At Suva,
14th December, 1990.
