DECISION

This employment dispute is between the Fiji Bank and Finance Sector Employees Union (the Union) and the Fiji National Provident Fund (the Employer) concerning the alleged failure to promote Ms Talaite Ofa Rokomatu (the Grievor) to Grade 3A.

The Dispute was referred to the Employment Tribunal by the Permanent Secretary on 23 September 2008.

The Dispute was initially listed for mention on 9 October and then again on 16 October 2008. On the second occasion the Union made an application for the Dispute to be withdrawn. The Employer indicated its consent to the application and subsequently confirmed its consent in writing on the same day.

Consequently the Dispute is withdrawn by consent in accordance with section 216 (6) of the Employment Relations Promulgation 2007.
