High Court of the Cook Islands - Land Division |
IN THE HIGH COURT OF THE COOK ISLANDS
HELD AT RAROTONGA
(LAND DIVISION)
No. 332/93
IN THE MATTER of an Application for Succession
to TITA ANAUTOA by REI ANAUTOA in the land known
as TAPAE-I-TAI SECTION 188H AND
PAENGAKOPE SECTION 128B
JUDGMENT OF THE COURT
The Court has already indicated the decision it proposes to make in respect of the above two blocks. The original Application for Succession dealt with six blocks in all, and these two were for some reason overlooked.
As a matter of courtesy the intended judgment was to be referred to Mr Manarangi. He was given ten days in which to make any submissions he considered appropriate since he had previoulsy applied to have earlier Succession Orders revoked.
The Registrar has certified that Mr Manarangi was served with that interim decision on 22 January at 10.50 a.m. The ten days specified therefore expired on 1 February. No submissions or indication of such an intention has been forthcoming from Mr Manarangi, and therefore the Court makes the Succession Orders applied for for the two blocks referred to above in the same terms as the original four Succession Orders were made.
Dated this 2nd day of February 1996.
By the Court
