ADDENDUM TO THE SENTENCING NOTES OF THE HONOURABLE JUSTICE DAME JUDITH POTTER

[1] Yesterday, 21 March 2018, I sentenced Mr Taufahema to 5 years 3 months imprisonment. I noted there should be a deduction for the time he has already spent in custody.
[2] I am advised that Mr Taufahema has been in custody since 16 October 2017. There should therefore be credited against his sentence of 5 years 3 months imprisonment the period spent on remand between 16 October 2017 and 21 March 2018.
